Hamburg's Senator Jens Kerstan Visiting 8.2 Stand

With approx. 30,000 visitors and over 1,400 exhibitors, the WindEnergy Hamburg trade fair was once again a complete success!

The 8.2 Group was also able to make many valuable new contacts and further deepen existing customer relationships at its stand.

Among the visitors this year was Hamburg's Senator for Environment and Energy, Jens Kerstan (Bündnis 90/Die Grünen).

He took the opportunity to talk to the newly elected 8.2 Group CEO Heiko Wuttke about current obstacles and challenges in the expansion of Hamburg's wind energy.
One problem here is the lengthy approval procedures, which then gave rise to the central topic of conversation:
How can approval procedures for new wind turbines be shortened in the future and what contribution can the independent 8.2 experts make here in the preparation of hazard analyses, e.g. in the planning of wind turbines in the port area?

Because one thing is clear: 8.2 stands for the only correct lifetime extension - that of wind turbines, not that of nuclear power!
