8.2: Your experts for plant certification

Experts from the 8.2 Group have been supporting grid connection projects in the area of renewable energies since 2009. We are proud to have a certification body founded specifically for this purpose in 2019 as part of our network, which has bundled and professionalized this know-how. It is officially recognized by DAkkS in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013.

An overview of our services

The certification body offers all certification services for renewable energy generation plants from a single source — efficient, digitally supported and practical:

• Type A plant certificates: For large systems starting at 950 kW
• Type B plant certificates: Simplified process for medium-sized systems from 270 to 950 kW
• Declaration of conformity after commissioning: Completion of the grid connection process leading to permanent operating permit
• Certification of wind power, photovoltaic, biogas and hydropower plants as well as storage and mixed parks

Norms and standards

Our certifications are based on the latest VDE application rules:

• VDE-AR-N 4110 (Medium Voltage Directive)
• VDE-AR-N 4120 (high voltage directive)
