Conformity check after start-up — for a secure connection to the network

After commissioning, there is one last important step before your generation plant receives permanent operating approval: the conformity test. It ensures that your plant was built and implemented exactly as planned and certified in the plant certificate. Only with a positive declaration of conformity is it possible to operate in accordance with the rules and the permanent operating permit is issued.

Conformity audit process

Since 2019, the experts at 8.2 Certification GmbH have been testing all relevant technical details: network connection points, protection and control systems, control behavior, reactive power supply and frequency response. This is done in close coordination with the network operator and on the basis of applicable guidelines (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4110/4120/4130).

Thanks to simplified processes, an on-site appointment at the plant is no longer necessary. Conformity — like the plant certificate — can be checked and confirmed on the basis of documents and photo certificates. The basis is the start-up declaration. The process of plant certification for plant certificates type A and B is completed when the declaration of conformity has been issued. At the same time, the monitoring process for the plant certificate by 8.2 Certification GmbH is ending.

If the test is positive, you will receive a declaration of conformity which confirms compliance with all requirements specified in the plant certificate. It is often the last requirement for full approval, network approval or the conclusion of funding agreements (e.g. market premium, feed-in tariff).
