Technical due diligence for 381 MW wind portfolio completed successfully

Technical due diligence successfully completed for our client BEE

In the period from August to December 2025, 8.2 Consulting AG was able to support a demanding TDD mandate for an extensive wind energy portfolio — with a total of 78 wind turbines and a total nominal output of 381 MW.

The following is a question of the following:

· 37 operational wind farms (260 MW)

· 4 wind farms under construction (46 MW, commissioning 2026)

· 3 wind farms in development (75 MW, commissioning planned 2027)

· Plant manufacturers: Enercon, Nordex, Siemens, Vestas,...

During processing, we carried out an energy yield assessment as a first step before we prepared a comprehensive red flag analysis as part of technical due diligence in step 2. We paid particular attention to turbine technology, existing project contracts and the consideration of CAPEX and OPEX.

As part of the 8.2 Group, we can draw on our large network of experts and have brought 8.2 QHSE GmbH & Co. KG on board to carry out the condition-oriented tests (ZOP) and 8.2 engineers BW GmbH for the lifetime assessments.

Matthias Abst — Head of Technical Project Management, Blue Elephant Energy GmbH, points out:

“Despite the high technical complexity of the portfolio and the very tight schedule, 8.2 delivered transparent, structured and high-quality technical due diligence. The cooperation was consistently professional and reliable and characterized by a high level of commitment. Particularly noteworthy is the clear and comprehensible presentation of the technical aspects relevant to decision-making at portfolio level, which provided a sound basis for our further project decisions.”

Timmo Seebo — Head of Consulting, 8.2 Consulting AG, adds:

“We are delighted to be able to support BEE with our expertise. With the comprehensive technical due diligence review, our team enabled secure decision-making for the positive outcome of the transaction process. We would like to thank you for your trust and cooperation in partnership! ”

As a result of the successful transaction, BEE was able to increase its share of wind in its overall portfolio to around 25% — a strong signal of the strategic importance of wind energy and a solid basis for further growth in the European market.
